Awareness Training Programme at Karuna Special School

Nayarambalam Grama Panchayat and Karuna Special School jointly organized an Awareness Training Programme under the aegis of the Early Intervention Unit of C.H Mohammed Koya Memorial State Institue For The Mentally Challenged (SIMC, Pangappara) on 24th March 2023 at Karuna Special School Auditorium. The programme was organized for parents, Anganwadi workers, Ward members, ASHA workers, Kudumbashree office bearers, and other social workers to raise awareness on the topic of “Early detection of disabilities and their prevention.” Renowned psychologist and trainer Dr Sr. Ruby was the resource person for the training programme. The session was insightful and interactive, and the participants learnt more about the topic.
